Recording Artist Deborah Peek was born in Chicago, Il and was adopted at the age of two by a couple from Alabama. When Deborah was four the family moved to Alabama and that's where she was raised. Deborah has been singing since she was old enough to walk. Growing up singing in church, Deborah gives credit for her ability to sing and natural talent to God. She sang in church and school functions and was a member of a gospel quartet at the early age of 15. Deborah has sang on the Grand Ole Opry, Stardust Theater, Bluebird Cafe and the Ryman in Nashville, Tn. In 2008 Deborah recorded a gospel cd titled “Living In The Rain”, which received much radio play. She had to put travel and ministry on hold when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013. After undergoing a double mastectomy, 28 radiation treatments,12 rounds of chemotherapy,and 5 surgerys, she is now cancer free. In 2016 Deborah recorded a new CD titled "This Is The Day". She had a radio release in 2016 called "Heavenly Rain" which has been added and receiving much air play, to many Southern Gospel and Christian Country stations across the country. Her most recent single "Blessed" is set to release March 6, 2017, was written by Patrick Dodge and Gene Ezell. Deborah also filmed a new music video featuring the song "Blessed", and is produced by award winning songwriter and producer Phil Cross.
